The history of the Discacciati company began in 1949, when Giuseppe and Giacomina Discacciati started the production of household linen.
Over the years the business developed, involving more and more people, now including highly qualified staff.
The company boasts of some of the best Italian but also foreign costumers, especially American brands related to the production of high-quality products.
After years of hard work, the next generation is now in charge of the management of the company.
It’s a finish obtained using a stronger type of cotton or linen to create well-defined embroideries. In the various products it can appear as single, double or triple, depending on the number of the strips made.
Gigliuccio is made of two parallel Iines of square stitch between which remains a stripe strip, which means composed of only vertical threads, then grouped into regular columns. Some advantages of the process are the precision and quality of the wire used.
The shadow point acts on the back side of the product and from the front side it appears as two parallel stitching that circumscribe the shaded area and slightly in relief. In the different products it can be used several times.
